Okay, so I have to confess… of the main reasons I did not and “could not” eat healthy before was mainly because my lack of knowledge when it came to COOKING!!!!

Yes, kind of important!!! Do you want to know what you are putting in your body? Then you better be making it at home! Another reason I had such a hard time was because I was always in a hurry! I woke up every single morning with GOOD INTENTIONS and did perfect till about 5 when dinner rolled around and I didn’t know what to make!!

Or I knew what I was planning on making, but by the time it came down to doing it I was either too tired or didn’t thaw out the ingredients. Sometimes everyone was starving so we resorted to a “desperate meal” and then vowed to do better tomorrow!

So to avoid resorting to those “Desperate Meals” (as I call them) I found that I needed to always PLAN and PREP my meals!! Some of the steps in prepping your meals for the week is to:

PREP is IMPORTANT!!! -Very important!!!

Behavioral Insight 8: Providing Unique Client Experiences

( Click here to read the previous posts in this series ).

Once Chris had an introduction to the communication keys for each Communication Style, his next concern was about providing unique client experiences. He could see that adapting to different communication keys was very important. However, he understood that the real game changer was customizing the client experience. If he could do that then the value proposition of his service would increase, along with the sustainability of revenues. Chris asked, How can I use this knowledge of Communication Styles to customize the service experiences for each client? I have 2 other clients I would like to impress: Helen Jones, who has a Lifestyle Desire, and Joshua Connor, who has an Information Need. To get Chris started, we provided him with a summary of the DNA Client Experience Guide, which is below. The guide provides inside tips on how to customize the service experience for each type of client.

The 2 clients Chris wants to customize his service for are complete opposites. Helen by nature is very impressionable and will enjoy a real fun and interactive experience. This will not naturally be Chriss style. Chris will likely succeed with Helen up-front because she wants to know that her goals will be achieved. However, over time Chris will not provide the social element Helen is looking for, and eventually she will be attracted elsewhere. The key here is that John gets involved and he interacts with Helen, and Chris reverts to providing his wisdom and experience from behind the scenes, meeting with her only at key times.

Bridge to Beethoven

Bridge to Beethoven explores the impact and significance Beethoven has had on a diverse group of composers and musicians. By pairing Beethoven’s ten sonatas for violin and piano with new works over four programs, this project seeks to ignite creative conversations around his music not only as a cornerstone of classical music but as a universal, culture-crossing source of inspiration. Bridge to Beethoven I features a new commission from composer Vijay Iyer to be paired with Beethoven’s “Kreutzer” Sonata; Bridge to Beethoven II pairs Jörg Widmann’s 'Sommersonate’ with Beethoven’s “Spring” Sonata; Gemondo Ruby Heart Pendant 9ct Yellow Gold 013ct Ruby amp; Diamond Pendant on 45cm Chain b8v1nJw
features newly commissioned, interweaving works by Andrew Norman throughout Beethoven’s Opus 30 Sonatas (Numbers 6,7, and 8); and Mens Titanium 8mm Cubic Zirconia Wedding Engagement Comfort Band Ring JxF2QOHBQ
pairs a new commission by Anthony Cheung to be paired with Beethoven’s final, tenth Sonata. We passionately believe in the constant evolution of classical music as a vital, living organism through its capacity to include a myriad of influences and hope to illustrate the sustained power of Beethoven's revolutionary voice in our present day community of artists and audiences. Jennifer Koh and Shai Wosner

The four recital series features music performed and composed by artists of diverse heritage with newly commissioned works by Vijay Iyer, Andrew Norman and Anthony Cheung.
Violinist Jennifer Koh and pianist Shai Wosner have come together to combine their personal and musical experiences in a collaborative project titled that explores theimpact and significanceBeethovenhas had on a culturally diverse group of composers and musicians. The recital series pairsBeethoven's Complete Violin Sonatas with works by composers of diverse racial and ethnic lineage in four distinct programs featuring three works commissioned for the series by Vijay Iyer, Andrew Norman, and Anthony Cheung which serve as companion pieces to select sonatas, and Jörg Widmann’s
“Shai and I created the project from different perspectives and directions, which will hopefully make the performance more interesting,” said Ms. Koh. For Mr. Wosner, the development of the series examines the music of Beethoven and the evolution of classical music through the present. “Beethoven was the first composer to write music in which the struggle of creativity is part of the piece,” he said. “And Beethoven was the first composer to do that consistently, the idea of the creative process is very much in the forefront of a lot of today's music and these new composers are all wildly different and exciting examples of that."
Ms. Koh’s approach to the project focuses on the cultural and social effect of classical music. “I wanted to create a project that exploresdiversityina compelling way, where people can engage with different cultural voices in a musical conversation,” she said. This project is about including a wide range of voices that takes all of us on a journey that illustrates the evolving nature of classical music.”
To develop new works that propelled the vision of “,” Ms. Koh asked Mr. Norman, Mr. Iyer, and Mr. Cheung, all of whom she has worked with previously, to compose new works to act as companion pieces to the existing Beethoven violin sonatas. Mr. Wosner, who has previously worked with Mr. Widmann, introduced to the project.
Bridge to Beethoven I is comprised of two sonatas: Op. 12, No. 1 in D Major and Op. 47, in A Major, and Vijay Iyer’s , a work influenced by the The was originally dedicated to George Bridgetower, a famous 18th-century Afro-European violinist who performed the premiere of the sonata with Beethoven. However, after an argument over what Beethoven construed as Bridgetower’s insult of a female acquaintance, Beethoven rededicated the sonata to Rudolphe Kreutzer. “My piece is a collection of imaginings about George Bridgetower,” Mr. Iyer said. “It is not programmatic, but it takes on an episodic character, assembled from contrasting fragments. I am grateful to Jenny and Shai for involving me in their beautiful, virtuosic music making.”
Bridge to BeethovenII includes three sonatas: Op. 12, No. 2 in A Major, Op. 23 in A minor, Op. 24 in F Major, and JörgWidmann’s . Mr. Widmann’s work was premiered in the U.S. by Ms. Koh and Mr. Wosner in 2014. Mr. Wosner said, "Widmann likes to re-examine canonical works in his music, using their musical content and symbolic meaning as cultural references. ("Summer Sonata") poses a question: is the idea of the sonata itself – for centuries one of the most durable models of classical music – still relevant for our own century? Does it still last? As a consequence, the piece goes back and forth between quasi-Romantic fervor and abstract fragmentation.”
Bridge to BeethovenIII includes sonatas Op. 30, No. 1 in A Major, Op. 30, No. 3 in G Major, Op. 30, No. 2 in C minor, and two short works composed by Andrew Norman to be interspersed with the three Op. 30 sonatas. “Jennifer and Shai are really thinking about what Beethoven means – not only in his own time, but what his work might mean for us today and I am interested in all of those questions myself,” Mr. Norman said. “This project is a perfect uniting of those things and it’s a chance for me to really think about a specific idea about a certain kind of music making and how I relate to that.”
Bridge to BeethovenIV , the final recital in the series, is comprised of sonatas Op. 12, No. 3 in E-flat Major and Op. 96 in G Major, and a new work by Anthony Cheung influence by the tenth sonata, Op. 96. “As a composer very much under the influence of Beethoven, I thought it was a great idea to create contemporary responses his music,” Mr. Cheung said.
“The traditions of classical music belongs to all of us,” Ms. Koh said. “and the future is about the energy that people from different places can bring to this music. What can actually make it more interesting and revitalize the musical performing tradition is adding more people.”

All of the configuration files for the Laravel framework are stored in the app / config directory. Each option in every file is documented, so feel free to look through the files and get familiar with the options available to you.

Sometimes you may need to access configuration values at run-time. You may do so using the Config class:

You may also specify a default value to return if the configuration option does not exist:

Notice that "dot" style syntax may be used to access values in the various files. You may also set configuration values at run-time:

Configuration values that are set at run-time are only set for the current request, and will not be carried over to subsequent requests.

It is often helpful to have different configuration values based on the environment the application is running in. For example, you may wish to use a different cache driver on your local development machine than on the production server. It is easy to accomplish this using environment based configuration.

Simply create a folder within the config directory that matches your environment name, such as local . Next, create the configuration files you wish to override and specify the options for that environment. For example, to override the cache driver for the local environment, you would create a cache . php file in app / config / local with the following content:

Note: Do not use 'testing' as an environment name. This is reserved for unit testing.

Notice that you do not have to specify every option that is in the base configuration file, but only the options you wish to override. The environment configuration files will "cascade" over the base files.

Next, we need to instruct the framework how to determine which environment it is running in. The default environment is always production . However, you may setup other environments within the bootstrap / start . php file at the root of your installation. In this file you will find an $app - > detectEnvironment call. The array passed to this method is used to determine the current environment. You may add other environments and machine names to the array as needed.
